About me
Hi, I'm Oana, and my journey in healthcare spans 19 incredible years.
It all began with a deep desire to care for others, which led me to work as a nurse assistant, providing specialized support for older adults and those with physical and cognitive disabilities, including individuals living with dementia and Alzheimer's, both in their homes and private settings. That early experience ignited a true love for helping people and fueled my decision to pursue nursing.
Twelve years ago, I proudly earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My nursing career then took me through the fast-paced environments of medical, surgical, and hyper-acute stroke units. For the past few years, I've embraced the challenges and rewards of emergency nursing at renowned Trauma Level 1 hospitals like Tampa General Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital (BC, Canada).
Holding both Canadian and American nursing licenses, along with my Advanced Certificate in Emergency Nurse Specialty with Distinction and up-to-date certifications (CPR, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS), I bring a wealth of experience to my practice.
Ultimately, what drives me is the ability to champion person-centered care, demonstrating genuine empathy for patients and their families, and being a strong advocate for their needs.
